At Putteridge High School we work together to ensure that every individual matters and every individual succeeds. We are a School community of almost 700 students aged 11 to 16, with 100 adults working to provide high quality education for the young people in our care.

Staff and students are proud of the School and work hard to maintain good standards. Putting students first in order to remove barriers to learning is the key responsibility of us all.

The Every Child Matters approach is at the heart of our practice and we will ensure that every young person:

Achieves aspirational goals;
Can make decisions which lead to a safe and healthy lifestyle;
Enjoys their time at PHS;
Can make a positive contribution in the School and wider community.

We aim always to encourage our students to achieve their personal best and are pleased to celebrate with parents and carers a wide range of achievements.  A notable strength of the School is the provision made for full integration of students with physical or visual impairment.

We are committed to extending our provision for the School and wider community through School clubs; the youth club and through the extension of recreational facilities in our Sports Centre.

Putteridge High School is dedicated to the education of the whole person within a caring community where each individual is valued. School Governors, the wider community, staff, parents, carers and students are involved in a partnership working towards success for those who come to the School.
